Your toboggan holiday in Gastein
The ideal activity for families, friends and groups. Toboggans and sledges, as well as sometimes bobsleighs and snow bikes, can be rented directly from the huts. Then off you go on your toboggan ride!
You are welcome to borrow a toboggan free of charge from us at the hotel.
Natural toboggan run in Bad Gastein
Length 2.5 km, illuminated
Ascend with the Bellevue-Alm chairlift, also in the evening.
Open daily
from 10:30 to 16:00 and
from 17:30 to 23:30
Natural toboggan run Bad Hofgastein
Length 3.3 km, night tobogganing on Tuesday and Friday
Start: Aeroplanstadl, Finish: Haitzing (Reiterhof). Take the Schlossalmbahn cable car up to the intermediate station, then it is around 15 minutes’ walk – in good snow conditions – during the operating hours of the Schlossalmbahn, and on Tuesdays and Fridays from 18:30 to 19:30 (last ascent) – the toboggan run is illuminated until 22:30.
Dorfgastein natural toboggan run
Length approximately 2 km, open all day, illuminated several times a week in the evening
You can ascend on foot or by special arrangement by horse-drawn sleigh. On the way to Unterberg, turn left up the gravel road after the wood dumping area. You can also park a car there. It is around an hour’s walk.
