Holidays with your dog

Finding the right dog-friendly hotel will give you so much more fun on holiday.

The dog, it is said, is man’s best friend. You want to have your best friend around you as often as possible – spend time with them, make sure they are doing well. The easiest way to do this is on holiday, of course – when everyone is relaxed, feels comfortable and is enjoying spending time together.
That’s why dogs are welcome at EUROPÄISCHER HOF Aktivhotel & Spa. Because our best friends also deserve the best.

The walking and hiking trails running right by our hotel guarantee a variety of dog-walking possibilities and lead to places where you can cool off in the Gastein Ache river.
We would also like to inform you that in Austria there is a legal obligation to wear a muzzle and lead.

Four-legged friends are welcome guests on the golf course right next to the hotel. The hotel has a washing area and a dog course. This complete package for dogs allows for a magnificent stress-free holiday with a dog in Bad Gastein.

Our in-house dog obstacle course

Our dog obstacle course is a really popular feature right on our hotel grounds. It is available to our hotel guests and their four-legged friends free of charge from April to November – experience exciting moments with your dog!

Just tolerating dogs is not enough for a pleasant stay. It is much nicer and more relaxed for everyone involved when dogs are welcome – and they are also offered all sorts of things. You’ll find that at the fantastically located EUROPÄISCHER HOF Aktivhotel & Spa in Bad Gastein. The dog-friendly hotel not only pays attention to the well-being of human guests. You can leave the dog blanket and bowls at home, as we will take care of it all.

Four-legged friends are allowed in the lobby, bar and café. They have numerous opportunities for long walks and hikes. At the reception you can get hiking tips for excursions with your dog as well as a personal hiking map.

Please understand that your four-legged pets are not allowed to accompany you to the restaurant, the spa area and the sunbathing lawn.

We charge 17.00 EUR per dog including a blanket and bowls.

We reserve the right to charge for room cleaning.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you are travelling with a dog. (max. 1 dog permitted per room). The hotel does not provide dog food and this is not included in the overnight service.
